Method
- Blend chopped watermelon without adding water.
- Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, black salt, chaat masala, and cumin powder.
- Cook on low flame for 15–20 minutes. Remove foam.
- Add food color (optional) and cook until slightly syrupy.
- Cool completely and store in a clean glass bottle.
Notes
To Serve:
Mix 2–3 tablespoons syrup with cold water, ice cubes, soaked basil seeds, and garnish with mint.
