Ingredients
  

  • Milk: 500 ml 2 Cups – Use full-fat cow milk or almond/coconut milk.
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder: ¼ tsp.
  • Cardamom Powder: ¼ tsp.
  • Saffron Kesar: 4-5 strands.
  • Jaggery Gud: 1 small piece (Adjust to taste).
  • Ghee Clarified Butter: 2 tsp (Optional, for better absorption).

Method
 

  1. Pour 500ml of milk into a saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once it boils, add the fresh turmeric piece. Stir well.
  3. Add the cinnamon powder and cardamom powder.
  4. Add the jaggery piece. (You can skip this if you prefer a sugar-free version).
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes to extract all the medicinal properties.
  6. Add the saffron strands and stir.
  7. Stir in 2 teaspoons of Ghee for extra richness and health benefits.
  8. Cook for another 2–3 minutes on low flame.
  9. Serve: Strain the milk into mugs and serve hot.
