Today, I am going to share a very effective homemade anti-aging oil that helps reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and dullness from the skin. This oil is completely natural and made with simple ingredients like carrots, cloves, coconut oil, and almond oil. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants which help brighten the skin and slow down signs of aging. When these nutrients get infused into oils using the double-boiler method, they get absorbed deeply into the skin and nourish it from within.
This remedy is easy to make and can be stored for a long time. If you use this oil regularly at night, you will notice that your skin becomes softer, smoother, and more youthful over time.
2 medium carrots – grated
½ teaspoon cloves
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon flax seeds
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup almond oil
Clean cotton cloth or cotton pad for straining
A clean glass jar for storage
Step 1: Prepare the Carrots
Take two medium-sized carrots and wash them properly. Peel the skin and grate them finely. Once done, collect the grated carrot into a clean bowl. Make sure that there is no extra water or moisture.
Step 2: Blend the Cloves and Bay Leaves
Take half a teaspoon of cloves and two bay leaves. Put them together into a small blender jar and grind them coarsely. They do not need to be powdered completely. A coarse texture is perfect because it releases their natural oils slowly.
Now, add this blended mixture to your grated carrots and mix everything gently.
Step 3: Add Flax Seeds and Oils
Add one teaspoon of flax seeds to the mixture. Flax seeds are known for their skin-firming and collagen-boosting properties.
Now add half a cup of coconut oil and one-fourth cup of almond oil. Coconut oil works as a deep moisturizer, while almond oil brightens skin tone and improves skin elasticity.
Mix everything well so that all the ingredients get combined evenly.
Step 4: Heat Using Double-Boiler Method
Take a pan and place a cotton cloth inside it. Now add water into the pan and keep the carrot oil bowl on top of the cloth inside the pan.
Turn on the heat and let it warm slowly on low flame. This is called the double-boiler method, which helps the nutrients from carrots, cloves, and flax seeds to infuse into the oils without burning them.
As the oil heats, the water inside the carrots will start to reduce. When the carrots appear dry and you notice the oil turning orange in color, turn off the flame.
Let the mixture cool down completely.
Step 5: Strain and Store
When the oil cools, place a strainer over a clean bowl and line it with a cotton cloth or cotton pad. Pour the carrot-oil mixture through it and strain it well. Make sure no small particles are left in the oil.
Now transfer this filtered oil into a clean glass jar. Your natural anti-aging carrot oil is ready.
Every night before going to sleep:
1. Wash your face with a mild face wash and pat dry.
2. Take 4–5 drops of the carrot oil on your palm.
3. Apply it on your face and massage gently in an upward direction for 15–20 minutes.
4. Let your skin absorb the oil fully.
5. If the skin feels too oily, wipe lightly with a soft cloth.
6. Wash face in the morning.
Use it regularly for best results.

Important Note
